Pink Scarves for Methodist Hospital
We have 100 pink and white scarves (plus many pink and white hats) ready to donate to Methodist Hospital for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. They were made by members of Common Thread for their annual Blessing of the Scarves.

10,868 Heart Shaped Pillow Cases!
On Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Happy Hands gathering, we celebrated the retirement of Thelma from her loyal service of sewing the heart shaped pillow cases used to make pillows for area hospital patients. We have records going back to 2011, and in that period, she sewed 10,868 pillow cases. These cases were then stuffed and closed and…
