Since 2008, the members of Common Thread Circle have donated over 100,000 items to Houston area hospitals. These handmade items include our heart-shaped comfort pillows, our “little critters” which are stuffed animals for the children’s wards, knitted and crocheted hats and scarves for cancer patients, and wheelchair bags for patients records while they are in the hospital. A special luncheon was held at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church on Monday, September 23rd to honor all those who have helped during the past eleven years.
