Leslie’s Evening Group will meet on Thursdays, May 3 and 17, from 6:30-9 p.m. at Sosa Community Center, 1414 Wirt at Westview.
Common Thread Circle will meet at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, Room D126, on Tuesday, May 15, 9:30 a.m. – noon.
The “Happy Hands” group will meet at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, May 23, 9:30 a.m.-noon.

The circle will meet at Peggy’s home on Monday, April 2, 3:00 p.m., for a Springtime Holiday party to celebrate. Contact one of the circle leaders if you need more information.

Monday meetings at Starbucks will be on April 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 2-4 p.m.

Leora’s Knitting and Crocheting Group will meet at her home on Wednesday, April 11, 1-3 p.m.

Leslie’s Evening Group will knit or crochet at Sosa Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road at Westview, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays, April 5 and 19.

On Sunday, April 15, the Congregation Beth Israel, 5600 North Braeswood Blvd., will be stuffing heart pillows for the Common Thread Circle Hospital Project from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for Mitzvah Day (the day of good deeds).

The Common Thread Circle will meet in Room D126 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 17, from 9:30 – noon.

The “Happy Hands” group will meet on Wednesday, April 25, at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church from 9:30 – noon.

Since we began our Hospital Project in May 2008, this brings Common Thread Circle to a grand total of 36,652 handcrafted items donated to Houston area hospitals!

We will continue to meet in March:

Monday afternoons, March 5, 12, 19 and 26, we will meet at Town and Country Starbuck’s from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  We will be stuffing and closing pillows and “critters” as well as knitting and crocheting various items needed by patients.

Knitting and crocheting groups:

Leslie’s Evening Group will meet on Thursday, March 1, and Thursday, March 15, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the Sosa Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road.  (Leora’s Daytime Group will not meet in March.)

Tuesday, March 20,  the Common Thread Circle will meet at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, Room D126, from 9:30 until noon.

Wednesday, March 28, the “Happy Hands” group will meet at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church from 9:30 – noon.

We will work on our hospital projects at meetings in the Town and Country Starbucks’ from 2-4 p.m. on Mondays, January  2, 9, 16, 23, and 30th.

Tuesday January 3, the Common Thread Circle will host the United Methodist Women General Meeting in Wesley Hall at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church by providing refreshments with coffee from 9:30-10:00 a.m.  A program will follow at 10:00 a.m. presented by Pam Goodson, a member of the SBISD  Board of Trustees.

On Wednesday, January 11, the knitters and crocheters group will meet at the home of Leora Feldman from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Tuesday, January 17, Common Thread Circle will meet in Room D126 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church from 9:30-noon. The “Happy Hands” group from Spring Branch Presbyterian Church will be our guests.

Wednesday, January 25, “Happy Hands” will meet at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church.
