October 2013 Meeting Dates

Mondays, October 7, 14, and 28 – Common Thread will meet at Town & Country Starbucks from 2-4 p.m.

Monday, October 21 – we will have our annual Halloween Party in Peggy’s home starting at 3 p.m.  Contact Lenore or Marilyn for details!

Tuesday, October 16, Common Thread Circle will meet in D126 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church from 9:30-noon. Maggi Suttles, Assistant Director of Volunteers from M.D. Anderson will be our guest speaker.

Wednesday, October 23, “Happy Hands” will have their final meeting of the year at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church from 9:30-11 a.m. (“Happy Hands” will not meet in November or December due to the holidays.)

Don’t miss Hearts & Hands Holiday Market  at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church! The Preview Party will be on Monday, October 28, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 if purchased ahead of time, $15 at the door. The market will be free to the public on Tuesday, October 29, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Note: Leora’s Knitting and Crocheting group will not meet at her home in October.
