October 2014 Meeting Dates

On Mondays, October 6,13, 20, and 27, Common Thread Circle will meet at Town & Country Starbucks from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, October 7, a general meeting of Memorial Drive United Methodist Women will be held in Wesley Hall. Brunch will begin at 10:00 a.m.  It will be followed at 10:30 by a program about the annual Hearts & Hands Holiday Market.

On Tuesday, October 21st, the Common Thread Circle will meet at Memorial Drive UMC in Room D126 from 9:30 – noon. PLASTIC jars of peanut butter and jelly will be collected and distributed to children in need at local elementary schools.

Wednesday, October 22nd, “Happy Hands” will meet at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Due to the holidays, “Happy Hands will not meet in November or December.

Be sure to attend the annual Hearts & Hands Holiday Market Oct. 27, 28 and 29 at Memorial Drive UMC. Monday, October 27, the Preview Party will be held from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 if purchased in advance, $15.00 at the door. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 28 and 29, admission is free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
