May 2014 Meeting Dates

On Mondays, May 5, 12, and 19, we will meet at Town & Country Starbucks from 2-4 p.m. (We will not meet on Monday, May 26, Memorial Day.)

Tuesday, May 6, the Memorial Drive United Methodist Women will meet at the church in Wesley Hall at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be followed by a salad luncheon. Common Thread Circle is hosting that day. Bring a salad to share and members of the circle will provide dessert. Everyone is welcome!

Wednesday, May 14, we will meet at Memorial Drive UMC in Room D220 from 1-3 p.m. for a “closing heart pillows party.” (Knitters are welcome!)

Tuesday, May 20, Common Thread Circle will meet from 9:30-noon in Room D126 at Memorial Drive UMC. Heather Rojas, Community Involvement Manager of the Harris County Health System will discuss the volunteer system in their hospitals.

Wednesday, May 28th, “Happy Hands” will meet at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church from 9:30-11:00 a.m.

Common Thread Circle will continue to meet during the summer months on Mondays at Town & Country Starbucks from 2-4 p.m. The circle will also meet at Memorial Drive UMC on Tuesday, June 17, and Tuesday, August 19.
