We had a wonderful time last Tuesday. Lots of cake and good news for our group. A big thank you to Kay Laycock and Candace Gibson who brought our heart pillows to OGDOS and supervised the children who stuffed them. Peggy Stuart brought our new and beautiful scrapbook which highlights our wonderful helpers and the many thank you notes we have received. “Thank you so much for your wonderful “outreach ministry” for patients at MDAnderson. I received one of the neck pillows you made and am still using it. I did not realize until later that a UMW group was responsible. I have already passed on the word to our quilting group at Iowa UMC in Iowa, LA where I am a member as. This may be a project we can take on for those in our local hospitals. Please continue to minister to others and I will pray for you as I use your pillow.”
