Wonderful January Meeting!
January 14th, 2018We had a great turn out at the first Monday meeting of Common Thread Circle. We got lots of heart pillows and critters ready to deliver to area hospital patients!
January Schedule Change
January 12th, 2018There will not be a meeting of the Monday Common Thread Circle on January 15. Memorial Drive United Methodist Church is closed that day for the Martin Luther King Day Celebration.
January 2018 Meeting Dates
January 2nd, 2018Common Thread Circle Monday Group will meet at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church from 2 – 4 p.m. on January 8, 15, 22, and 29th in Room D100.
The UMW Common Thread Circle will meet in D100 on Tuesday, January 16th from 9:30 – a.m. – noon.
Common Thread Meeting Dates – December 2017
November 24th, 2017The Monday Group of Common Thread Circle will meet from 2-4 p.m. in Room D100 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church on Dec. 4 and Dec. 11th.
The UMW Common Thread Circle will join the Music Circle for a luncheon in Friendship Court at MDUMC on Tuesday, Dec. 19th. Contact Marilyn MacRill for information if you plan to attend.

It’s a special day when Judy brings in more of her wonderful knitted bears! They will all go to children’s wards in Houston area hospitals.

November 7th, 2017 Memorial Hermann Hospital Southwest Auxililary presented a check to Janie Schmidt, Co-chair of Common Thread Circle, to show their appreciation for the handmade heart pillows and other items we have provided for their patients.
November 2017 Meeting Dates
October 31st, 2017The Monday group of Common Thread Circle will meet on Mondays, November 6. 13, and 27th in Room D100 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. There will be NO meeting 11/20.
The UMW Common Thread Circle will not meet Nov. 21st. Enjoy your Thanksgiving week!
Happy Hands will resume meeting in January.
October 2017 Meeting Dates
September 29th, 2017Mondays, October 2, 9, 16, and 30th, the Monday Group of Common Thread will meet in Room D100 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church from 2-4 p.m. We will NOT meet on Monday, October 23. Be sure to visit the Hearts and Hands Market, Monday evening, October 23 for the Preview Party, or during the day on Tuesday, October 24 or Wednesday, October 25.
Tuesday, October 17, the UMW Common Thread Circle will meet in D100 at MDUMC from 9:30 – noon.
Wednesday, October 25, “Happy Hands” will meet to stuff and sew heart pillows at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church from 9:30- 11:30 a.m.
September 11 meeting cancelled.
September 8th, 2017Due to Hurrican Harvey, the Common Thread Circle meeting at Memorial Drive UMC has been cancelled on Monday, September 11th.
